Associate Lecturers Nutrition, Dietetics and Nutritional Biochemistry

Nutrition and Health is a growth area within Hollings Faculty. The MSc and BSc (Hons) programmes in Nutrition and Health, Human Nutrition and Food Science and Nutrition have seen a growth in popularity over recent years reflected in an increase in applications in 2011 and 2012. We offer contemporary and exciting programmes which aim to develop nutrition graduates who are highly employable and well equipped to work in the field of nutrition.

The Post

Associate Lecturers x 4

You should be a Registered Nutritionist or a Dietitian and will play a significant role in contributing to the programmes, particularly at postgraduate level. The department has well established links with the food industry and applicants with experience of working in this area are especially welcomed as are those with a background in clinical nutrition and health.

We are looking for expertise in nutritional biochemistry, community nutrition, public health nutrition, sports and exercise science. We are particularly interested in experiential case study approaches to learning as well as traditional lecture and practical delivery methods.
